The mission of the NorthEast SAS User Group is to promote the sharing of SAS-related information among members of the SAS community through:
- the NESUG Annual Conference held every fall
- our Speaker Sharing Program
- acting as a liaison to both SAS and other SAS user groups.
NESUG is managed by a volunteer Executive Committee. The Executive Committee plans and executes all aspects of the NESUG conference and other activities. Committee members also manage the relationships with the LUGs and interface with SAS Global Forum and SAS.
NESUG is comprised of its affiliated SAS Local User Groups (LUGs). There are no individual memberships in NESUG, and there are no individual or group dues. If you are a member of a local SAS user group affiliated with NESUG or register for a NESUG conference, you are automatically eligible to participate in NESUG.
Local SAS user groups update their affiliation with NESUG yearly. The only obligation for LUG affiliation is to remain in contact with NESUG via a NESUG liaison, and to share information beneficial to both groups such as meeting schedules, mailing lists, etc.
