Timeline

May 6:  Call for Presentations Closes:  Draft Paper / Poster Due
A draft version of each paper or poster, or detailed outline, must be submitted to the NESUG CFP website before the Call for Presentations closes. Earlier submissions are welcome and appreciated by the Section Chairs.  This is different from past years, where only the abstract was required before acceptance.

If your paper or poster is accepted for presentation at NESUG, the following timeline will be followed:

July 8:  Permission to Publish Form Due
The Permission to Publish form must be printed and signed by ALL authors of each paper. Sign, scan, and upload to the CFP website. Follow the file upload instructions given for your papers and slides, but use the Permission to Publish field on the upload screen.

July 8:  Final Paper / Poster Due
The final version of each paper or poster must be in PDF format, named with your paper code and submitted to the CFP website.

July 23:  Early Registration Ends
Early discount ends. The primary presenter must be registered by this date.

July 29:  Hands-on Workshop Materials Due (tentative)
All presenter files, program code, software requests are due.  Submission instructions will be available later.

August 8:  Draft Presentation Due
For all sections except Hands-On Workshops. A PowerPoint template is available, if you wish to use it.  Use of the template is not mandatory.

Date TBD:  Final Presentation Due (varies by section)
Whether or not you must submit a final version of your presentation in advance of the conference is at the discretion of your Section Chair. For example, because of tight scheduling at the conference, Quick Tips typically requires a final presentation be uploaded about a week before the conference. Contact your Section Chairs for details specific to your section.
