The following information will answer some of the more frequent
questions from presenters.
- Who do I contact if I have a question about the conference or my presentation/poster?
You should contact your Sections Chair(s). Their email addresses were included in the acceptance email you received in May. This letter contains other useful information concerning deadlines and presenter responsibilities.
If you have difficulty contacting your Section Chairs, please email cfp@nesug.org.
- What deadlines should I be aware of and prepare for?
The Presenter Info section in the left menu on the NESUG Web site has information about deadlines. These are also listed in your acceptance email.
- Do all authors of a paper need to sign the Permission To Publish(PTP) form?
Yes. The submitted Permission To Publish form must have the signatures of all authors. The deadline for this is June 17.
- How do I receive the presenter's discount when I register for the conference?
Before registration opens in June you will receive an email from your section Chair(s) with a discount code and instructions for using it when you register online. To receive the discount you must register during the early registration period, i.e. by July 22.
- Who should I contact if my affiliation or contact information changes?
You should contact your Sections Chair(s). It is important that they have up-to-date information.
- Do I need to let the Section Chairs know if i'm going on vacation or will be out of touch?
Yes. You should also consider your schedule in relation to presenter deadlines. You should communicate with your Section Chair(s) about any concerns or potential issues.
