Conference FAQ

What is a BOF?

A BOF is a Birds-of-a-Feather session. In contrast to the formal presentation sessions, BOFs provide attendees an opportunity to discuss a topic of mutual interest in an informal setting. They usually meet for one-hour sessions during the lunch hour on Monday or Tuesday or in the evenings after presentations have concluded. BOFs can be scheduled either prior to, or at the conference, by making arrangements with the Conference Chairs. You can also create one by posting on a BOF sign-up sheet on the conference message board .
