For PresentersTo submit, manage, and/or upload files, go to our Call for Papers site. Presenter Timeline and Resources Below is some basic information and standard guideline materials to help you as you create your Paper and prepare your talk or Poster. The purpose of the Guidelines is to aid individuals as they prepare a finished professional product and their presentation. The sections below discuss in order: Presenter Obligations and Timetable The following is the schedule for submission of abstracts and, if your abstract is accepted, the timing of the submission of your draft and final versions.
NESUG does not publish a printed version of the Conference Proceedings. A CD version of the Conference Proceedings will be produced containing each presentation. In order to create a professional product, it is important that the papers are prepared in a consistent fashion. This is achieved by starting with the SAS Global Forum 2008 Paper Guidelines.
PLEASE do NOT put your paper code at the top of Page 1. In a nutshell, if you prepared a paper for SAS Global Forum 2008, the only change necessary prior to submitting as a NESUG paper would be to remove the paper code/number from the top of page 1. Otherwise, the paper is acceptable for NESUG. Please keep in mind that NESUG papers are not simply a copy of the slides used for the presentation or the exhibits that comprise the Poster. There are more resources below to help you prepare the contents of your paper. Each paper is assigned a number(paper code) in the form of xxnn where the xx is a code for the section and the nnis a sequential number. Please use this paper code as the name of your PDF file e.g. AS03.pdf or CC06.pdf, etc. when you upload.
Resources for Presenters The Permission to Publish form gives NESUG limited copyright to publish your paper as part of the NESUG 2008 Proceedings. PDF file: If you cannot create a PDF file, there are several products and services available to create PDF files free of charge: Adobe Acrobat
